Fonte di Abbarghente

The Abbarghente springs (also known as Su Mudeju) are a small cluster of thermo-mineral springs in the countryside of Romana, near Monteleone Rocca Doria (NW Sardinia, Meilogu). The waters are famous for being naturally sparkling (a feature linked to the area’s volcanic geology) and the site is traditionally considered an ancient “sacred spring” area, with traces of historic use tied to the cult of healing waters.

Using your material: these thermal manifestations emerge along N/S-oriented faults and include the Abbarghente springs (about 1 L/s, ~22°C, pH ~6.3) and the nearby Mattagiana spring (about 2.1 L/s, ~22°C, pH ~7.3).
