Mattagiana

The Sorgente di Mattagiana is a small thermal/mineral-water emergence in north-western Sardinia, between Romana and Monteleone Rocca Doria, where groundwater rises along N–S fault lines that channel it back to the surface.

The spring has a flow of about 2.1 L/s, with water at roughly 22°C and a near-neutral pH around 7.1–7.3—so it’s more of a mildly warm spring than a “hot bath” spring. It’s often mentioned together with the nearby Abbarghente springs as part of the same fault-controlled thermal manifestations in the area.

There is no online information on what the spring looks like today. To be discovered !
